Jim and Don Sturges
Jim and Don Sturges were born and raised in Ridgefield, Connecticut, started a highly successful construction company here, and have other close relatives, including the Pinchbeck family. Both brothers say they love their town and wouldn’t live anywhere else.” We established our company in Ridgefield on a solid foundation of ethics, mutual trust and performance,” Don says. “We know the town and its people and are very fortunate to have been able to build up such a successful business over the past 30 years.” The brothers got their start in the construction business by working with their father, John Sturges. “Our father was very skilled and taught us all aspects of the building trade,”Don says. ”He was a very smart man.”
The Sturges and Pinchbeck families have not only provided outstanding services to the town of Ridgefield, they also have a long tradition of giving back to their community. “Our grandfather Sturges donated 40 acres of land to Ridgefield some time back,” says Jim. ”It’s called Sturges Park and is used a lot for Scout activities. In our business, we contribute frequently to a variety of causes and are strong supporters of Tiger Hollow.”
”We know the town and its people and are very fortunate to have been able to build up such a successful business over the past 30 years.” Jim agrees. ”Most of our business is repeat, and we never have to advertise.” Our reputation has been built on word of mouth through our customers, realtors and other businessmen. Their success goes back to one simple word — trust. “People know us and trust us to do the right thing by them,” Don says. ”Our business has been built on this and we will never change."
